The Digital Design Competition themed "July 15th Democracy and National Unity Day," organized by our faculty, was successfully completed with the participation of university students. This competition, in which our students presented their artistic and intellectual expressions on a digital platform, reinterpreted the place of July 15th in social memory through the language of contemporary design.
Awards were presented to the students who won the competition following the evaluation of the academic jury at a ceremony. The ceremony was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hatice Selma ÇELİKYAY, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem BOGENÇ, Prof. Dr. Aysun ÖZKÖSE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beyza ONUR, Assistant Professor Fuat FİDAN, and our students. We thank all students who participated in the competition for their interest and effort and congratulate the award-winning students.
The students who were awarded prizes, based on criteria such as aesthetic integrity, originality, and depth of message, are as follows:
1st Prize: Semih Burak Demir
2nd Prize: Ilgaz Atalay, Sertaç Demir, Berkant Gökbel
3rd Prize: Bengüsu İnce
With such events, we will continue to support younger generations in strengthening their historical awareness and contributing to social values through design.
