The Department of Architecture was established in the world heritage city of Safranbolu in 2002, affiliated with Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. It started education in the 2003-2004 Academic Year; It provides education in the faculty building in Safranbolu.
Educational staff; It consists of academics who specialize in fields such as architecture, city and regional planning, and art history and whose works are accepted at national and international levels, and young academics who continue postgraduate programs. It also collaborates with the region's leading and expert architects.
The fact that the study area is both in Safranbolu, which has maintained the architectural and urban values of the past until today, and in the industrial city of Karabük, will provide students with different perspectives on traditional and contemporary space designs.
