On June 11, 2026, our Faculty's Architecture Department held a comprehensive evaluation meeting with the participation of all academic staff, focusing on infrastructure and academic development. The meeting, chaired by our Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mutlu and Dr. Ayşe Merve Saraçaoğlu Gezer, and the Head of the Architecture Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Tuna Kayılı, thoroughly discussed the department's academic performance and future projects.
One of the most important agenda items was the planned new laboratory within the Architecture Department. Ideas were exchanged regarding the laboratory project, which will strengthen the technical infrastructure of students and researchers, and the roadmap to be followed was evaluated. The importance of academic publications and citations to increase the department's scientific productivity was highlighted, and the need to continuously update personnel profiles and publication lists on the university's UNIS system was emphasized. Information was also received regarding new project applications planned by faculty members for the upcoming term.
