Architecture

Within the scope of the "Karabük Architectural History Research" course conducted by Dr. Merve Saraçoğlu Gezer, a technical field trip was organized to the Yenişehir region in the central district of Karabük. The architectural character of the early Republican period and the reflection of industrial heritage on the urban fabric were examined on-site. Students had the opportunity to closely observe examples of housing construction related to industry in Yenişehir, the aesthetic understanding of the period, and building details.
