As the Karabük University Safranbolu Başak Cengiz Faculty of Architecture, we are hosting a panel titled “Housing is a Human Right. Build It!” within the scope of World Architecture Week. We will examine the transformation of housing from the past to the future through the lenses of people, the city, culture, rights, and sustainability.
We will engage in a multidimensional discussion covering topics ranging from the historical evolution of housing to contemporary production methods; from the relationship between people, the city, and the right to the city to market and zoning issues; and from the future of cultural heritage to the construction of sustainable, healthy, and comfortable housing.
