Following the lecture, a tour of Safranbolu was conducted, with Hans van der Heijden and his student Ceylan Kılıç accompanied by academic staff from the Department of Architecture. That evening, a visit was made to the mansion where Ceylan Kılıç plans to conduct a two-day workshop, featuring drawings of the mansion. A workshop on "Building Analysis and Drawing Techniques" was held at our university's Iron and Steel Institute on April 10-11, 2026, with the participation of 14 architecture students. The students, who worked on drawings of a designated building, emphasized that the workshop was educational and that such events fostered a spirit of teamwork. Ceylan Kılıç closely supervised the students for two days, teaching them techniques on how to perform a three-dimensional analysis of a building. At the end of the program, plaques and gifts were presented to Hans van der Heijden and Ceylan Kılıç. All participants received certificates of attendance. Our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Rakıp Karaş, spoke about the importance of such international collaborations, while Hans van der Heijden expressed his admiration for the synergy among the students in our department.
